10 sleeps... Xmas was a fun time spent at Scotts Head & SWR and out in the boat on the creek. Back home now for my last week at the Hacienda with Tris, Ang & Miss Gigi visiting. Had an hilarious poker game last night with reluctant player Ang scooping the chips like a pro. Looks like I finally found a place for first 2 nights in La La ... Orange Grove - an old 40's hotel with grounds. V. retro-rustic cool ... where Clarke Gable used to stay...around the corner from Hollywood Boulevard & Walk of Stars past Chinese Mann Theatre & Kodak Theatre...and close to Paramount Studios for my first night out at the Priscilla Extravaganza ... so looking forward to that. Ausfilm Breakfast first up tho'... But for now it's beach time - the dolphins have been hanging about which makes my day, and the fish have been biting. Colin's bringing the boat down for a trip up the Hastings today. Great way to say goodbye to my river before I take off...
